Fantastic Live-in Housekeeper Required in Mayfair for HNW Property

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are working with our client to find a fabulous Live-in Housekeeper to take care of all aspects of this 7-bedroom property in Mayfair. Working Monday - Friday you will be the sole housekeeper ensuring the upkeep of this luxury property.

With the principal only using the property for approximately 3 months of the year, you will be responsible for the home in their absence. You should be confident in all household cleaning and laundry, have an excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes. You should be able to work autonomously with a positive attitude whilst remaining professional and discreet at all times.

Duties will include all general and deep cleaning of the property, ensuring all deliveries are accounted for and packed away properly, supervising contractors, laundry and ironing, running the taps weekly to prevent build-up, preparation of the home for the principal’s arrival, and grocery shopping. Prior experience within a high-net-worth household is essential.

Working five days per week, Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00 when the principal is not there, you will be expected to be flexible with hours when the principal is in residence. The accommodation provided will be a private en-suite double bedroom located on the top floor of the property.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen

· Laundry and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics and ironing

· Making beds and changing bed linen

· Packing and unpacking for the principals

· Polishing silver and glassware

· Flower arranging

· Managing stocks of cleaning products

· Rubbish and recycling management

· Ad-hoc duties as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Prior housekeeping experience within a private household

· Fluency in spoken English

· Eligibility to work in the UK

· High attention to detail and exacting standards

· Flexibility with hours and duties

· Able to work independently

· Trustworthy and reliable

· Excellent checkable references

Salary: £37,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
