Kennel Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team and provide excellent care for our animals. The successful candidate will be responsible for feeding, exercising, and providing general care for the animals in our kennel. This position requires a compassionate individual who is comfortable working with all types of animals and has a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and other areas.
• Provide basic care for animals such as feeding, grooming, and exercising.
• Ensure that all animals are safe and secure in their enclosures.
• Monitor the health of animals and report any changes to the veterinarian.
• Assist with the transport of animals to and from veterinary appointments.
• Keep records of animal care activities.
• Provide customer service to pet owners.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
