Engineering Maintenance Technician

Role Overview & Responsibilities

A food manufacturing Company, based in Action area, requires an Engineering Maintenance Technician to join the team. The duties will range from minor repairs to conducting health and safety checks on machinery, lifts, air conditioning and industrial freezers and coolers.

A successful candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that include:

· Basic electrical work experience;

· Basic plumbing and heating repairs;

· Experience on working on industrial machinery, ideally in a manufacturing (food) environment.

· Knowledge of writing reports on matters relating to maintenance.

· Computer literacy.

Education and training requirements, combination of:

· Literacy and arithmetic at General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) levels or equivalent;

· That National Vocational Qualification (NVQ);

· Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC); and

· City and Guilds training courses focus on practical skills that are ideal for Handymen.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years UK working experience in a commercial environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
