Site Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Abatec are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer, to join our client, a regional Civil Engineering contractor with an ever-growing presence in Bristol and the surrounding areas. This opportunity would suit an engineer with a couple of years’ experience who is looking to join a company where they can build on their experience and progress their career in the industry. This position would be site based local to Bristol on infrastructure/highways and general civil engineering schemes.

Please note, we will also accept applications from trainee/assistant/graduate engineers.

As Site Engineeryou will:

• Have experience of setting out on civil engineering schemes.
• Provide levelling and surveying across site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Have experience of robotic total stations.

Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with:

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.
• A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering – or currently undertaking.
• Understanding of AutoCAD.

Salary and benefits include:

• £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
• Company vehicle + fuel card
