Trainee / Junior CAD Technician (Auto CAD 2D)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Abatec are currently recruiting for a Trainee/Junior CAD Technician for our client based near Weston Super Mare. This is a Hybrid role but you will have to visit the Weston site weekly.

As a Trainee CAD Technician you will:

• Create production drawings for specials using AutoCAD (2D cad)
• Create sign off drawings for specials and standards using AutoCAD
• Create 2D Models in Solidworks (training provided)
• Prepare production packs
• Inspect drawings when necessary
• Work within customer requirement deadlines

Our client requires a CAD Technician with:

• Experience of using AutoCAD/Solidworks desirable but not essential.
• Preferably with experience in a manufacturing / construction environment
• A keenness to learn and develop
