Role Overview & Responsibilities

RETAIL WAREHOUSE ASSISTANTS
Full-time and Part-time contracts available

Our retail staff play a critical role in keeping our business running smoothly. You'll need to be attentive to detail, work safely, be able to multi-task, have good common sense and be hard working.

It's a fast paced environment, where you'll be on the go all the time. You'll need good organisation and communication skills, and must be reliable.

The Job

You will be given training and procedures to follow. Example duties are listed below as a guide, however, individual roles may vary:

Service:

• serving customers
• helping with enquiries
• preparing products for sale
• stock handling and replenishment
• merchandising
• maintaining standards
• participating in store and car park maintenance and security

Warehousing:

• receiving, checking and sorting deliveries
• storage and retrieval of goods from the warehouse
• stock control activities including managing perishables
• picking and packing customer orders
• processing goods for sale
• maintaining good working warehouse systems
• participating in warehouse and external yard storage, maintenance and security

What you need to be considered

• Good communication skills
• Good numeric skills
• Ability to accurately fill in forms, record product codes and count stock levels
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Retail, customer service or warehouse experience preferred but not essential
