Role Overview & Responsibilities

What You’ll Need to be Successful in the Role:
As a Plater you will support in the application of super abrasive coatings for the Aerospace industry. You will be working as part of a small team requiring you perform your own tasks as well as supporting the other team associates in delivering theirs.
- Attention to detail, focusing on every aspect of the process to drive quality and accuracy
- Time Management, consciously planning the amount of time spent on tasks to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Critical Thinking, analysis of problems and solutions to determine the best course of action
- Self-Motivated, ability to begin, execute and complete projects and tasks independently, and within a team orientated environment, without supervision
Knowledge, Qualification and Experience.
- Familiarity with the Aerospace Industry with AS9100/ISO9001 or equivalent would be preferred
- Understanding of working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a Nickel-plating process and environment would be an advantage
- Must be methodicaland able to follow a fixed process and understand the controls of a CRITICAL PART manufacturing methodology
- Good computer skills
Full training will be provided. During this period a training rate will apply Monday to Thursday 7:45 to 16:15 and Friday 07.45 to 12.45
Salary and Benefits
Salary £23,000 plus 6% shift allowance (Shift allowance subject to completion of training - approx. 3 months)
Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00 and Friday 06:00 to 13:30
