HGV Class 2 Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking 3 Class 2 (Cat C) Multi Drop Drivers to be based at our Totton depot , Hampshire. Completing deliveries and collections of pallets in the local area. Opportunities to progress to other class's are always available for the right candidate.

Main responsibilities:

• Completing multi drop deliveries of pallets and collections of pallets
• Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
• Being responsible for loading the vehicle and unloading at each drop
• Perform daily checks on the vehicle and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness

Key Skills and Experience:

• Hold a full up to date Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Hold a full Class 2 licence (with at least 6 months’ UK experience)
• Have no more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Pallet delivery experience is preferred, but not essential

This role is Monday to Friday, 52.5 hours a week, with some Saturday overtime. The £35,522.50 OTE salary is based on a basic salary and a weekly bonus excluding overtime.
