Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to company growth, an exiting opportunity has arisen to join our Operations team as a Bottling & Logistics Administrator. The role will be to provide highly professional & proactive support to the business, ensuring that the movement of Aceo product is facilitated in a timely manner and in line with HMRC guidelines and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

  • To organise and oversee the movement of casks and bottles under bond from Aceo facilities to external bonds.
  • Arranging and facilitating the bottling of both customer and Aceo owned casks, liaising with 3rd party bottling halls and working to customer specifications.
  • Arranging the movement of cased bottles under bond into the EU and via direct export outside of the EU.
  • Production of all certification required to support the dispatch of products.
  • To track the stocks of cased goods at 3rd party warehouses and invoice customers as necessary.
  • Purchasing and tracking of dry goods for customer bottlings and invoice customers as necessary.
  • To record the use of Aceo Bond Movement Guarantee for HMRC records.
  • Ensure that customer queries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner ensuring that queries are followed up.
  • Understanding the HMRC/EMCS process for moving spirit under bond.
  • Understand and apply Scotch Whisky Association regulations to Aceo and customer labels, giving advice where necessary.
  • Liaise with the Design department in relation to customer bottle labelling.
  • Apply best practice when obtaining prices for dry stocks and transport.
  • Liaise with the Finance department to understand and apply credit control procedures.

Skills required:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in spoken English and strong writing capabilities
  • A professional & presentable demeanour
  • Excellent organisational/administrative skills with very good attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Package, with a good level of proficiency in Excel
