HGV Class 2 Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Advanced Access Platforms is the South East's leading independent powered access supplier and due to expansion is looking for a HGV Driver to work from their busy depot in Southampton.

Advanced Access Platforms prides itself on excellent customer service and state of the art products and we are now expanding and looking for a Class 2 HGV driver to join our fantastic team.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Deliver/collection of machines as required
• Show customers the controls of the machines (training will be given)
• Good customer communication
• Driving in and around London and the home counties (areas different every day)

Skills required:

If you are successful, you will be provided with a comprehensive company induction and training programme and we will help develop your future career progression within our business. In return we would ideally like our candidate to show a number of skills, including:

• HGV class 2 Licence
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work on your own and part of a team
• Powered Access experience would be nice but no essential

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £18.00-£25.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

COVID-19 considerations:
A full COVID 19 protocol is in place including social distancing, daily temperature checks, PPE supplied and regular cleaning is in place.

Experience:

• Driving a Goods Vehicle: 2 years (preferred)
• driving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver CPC (required)
