Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Warehouse Floor staff to provide support in our Barking branch of Abiglobal.

Responsibilities

Moving goods of various weights and sizes so physical strength is a must.

Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.

Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule .

You will work both independently and in a team so the ideal candidate needs to have a good command of the English language in writing, reading and speaking as you will be loading goods for customers on pallets which must be correct.

Loading customer vehicles and generally being on standby to provide support to visitors to the branch and your colleagues as and when you are needed. So customer service and being versatile is also a must for this role. Training will be given as well as necessary equipment. We are seeking a new starter asap.

Requirements and skills

Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker

Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

Good organisational and time management skills

Ability to lift heavy objects.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
