Machine Operator - CNC

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our client based in Tiptree, Essex is looking for a experienced Machine Operator (CNC) on a full time basis.

What's on offer?

• Full time permanent Job
• Working hours per week - 5 day shifts (7:30 – 17:00) Monday – Friday
• 20 days annual leave + BHs
• Statutory sick pay
• Uplift to annual leave to 2 days after two continuous years of service

What you need?

• Experience and the ability to run at least one Machine onsite.
• Ability to read and operate the machine user interface for both part manufacture and control of machine parameters
• Knowledge and ability to apply tool change procedures for the assigned machine.
• Knowledge of all machine / production process applicable internal standards and the competence to apply them consistently.
• Knowledge of machine setup and error code cause and resolution
• Knowledge of the reporting line and routes of escalation within both the department and the company.

Desired skills but not essential

• A Forklift Truck Licence and 1 year’s operating experience is desirable, but not essential.
• Health and Safety training course IOSH desirable but not required
