Role Overview & Responsibilities

General machinist required to join a small friendly company. Fully capable of working from drawings and using all toolroom equipment. Charmilles CNC wire erosion skills would be useful but full training could be given to the correct capable applicant.

Machining to include milling, turning, grinding, drilling/tapping etc. experience required on some of these operations is essential but limited training could be given to fill in some missing experience.

We also undertake press tool repairs and new tooling up to approximately 100ton presses (600mm sq diesets max). Pierce & Blank, Raise tooling and basic progression tools. If you have any of these skills then we would start you as toolmaker and the salary could be higher.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
