Assembly Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assembly Operative to join this team within this trade-only security distributor.

This role is a Monday-to-Friday position and is full-time. Hours are 8 am - 5 pm (40-hour week).

This position is based in our Production Department, which is where we build and assemble key and lock orders fully and accurately to the customers specifications.

We would like to talk to candidates who can demonstrate previous experience in the following;

• Experience of assembling small component parts
• Quality checking of materials and finished products.
• Following instructions both written and verbal.
• Working to targets.
• Working on your own and as part of a team.

Good Initiative, common sense and a passion for customer excellence are key attributes of this role. Experience and knowledge of assembly work is essential. Experience with working on computers will also be beneficial for this role.

Candidates must be able to understand written instructions.

Salary: £20,600.00-£22,500.00 per year

Hand sanitiser provided on entry doors, social distancing in place with split breaks & lunches, all common areas are cleaned and wiped down throughout the day

• Birmingham B11 2BF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
