Technical Business Development Manager

ALZETA is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to lead our established energy and combustion focused manufacturing company. This individual will be outward focused on key customers and suppliers and will have primary responsibility for identifying new business opportunities. The right candidate will display enthusiasm and drive, demonstrate technical and interpersonal skills, as well as exhibit flexibility to manage all aspects of this small profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop new customer relations with innovative marketing strategies
• Act as general manager, providing management support and assistance to the finance, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
• Drive to the budget, manage costs, and identify opportunities for new business
• Own customer satisfaction and improve profitability of existing operations
• Ensure that we meet all industry standard operational obligations (HazMat, fire, OSHA, etc.)
• Communicate corporate goals and foster a positive corporate culture
• Negotiate contracts, property agreements, business agreements, and communicate closely with attorneys
• Report quarterly (or as needed) to the Board of Directors

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience and leadership success in a similar management role
• Experience in sales or key account manager roles
• Outstanding organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience in semiconductor or combustion engineering and manufacturing
• Experience in negotiating sales and technology agreements
• Travel 10%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
