Passenger Services Agent

Based at: Heathrow Airport – Terminal 4

ASC Handling Limited is a well-established ground handling company based at London Heathrow Airport and we currently provide ground handling services to 13 different airlines. We are a fast and innovative handling company, and our aim is to offer a quality service to a very selected number of airlines. We believe that our excellent customer service and the professionalism of our team makes us one of the leading ground handling agents at Heathrow.

About the Role:

Duties include:

• Ensure that each passenger from different customer airlines and their baggage is checked in professionally whilst ensuring all relevant security checks are carried out.
• Assist with the Boarding process at the Boarding Gates whilst complying with safety and security procedures.
• Provide a high level of customer service to all passengers of our customer airlines.
• Ensure company & customer procedures and performance targets are met.

An awareness of health and safety and safe working practices is important, although full training is provided.

Requirements:

• 5-year checkable employment/education history
• Will be required to complete UK DBS (criminal record check) and overseas criminal record check, if applicable.
• Be prepared and able to work rotating shift patterns (including early and late shifts) over a 7-day working week.
• Be able to start work from 04:15 for early shifts, and finish at 23:30 for late shifts.
• Previous public-facing customer service experience is an advantage, preferably within a challenging environment.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are a must
• Evidence of basic computer skills/systems

Salary: Full-Time - From £21,667 to £26,000 (depending on experience)

Part-Time: (30 Hours per week) also available (Pro-Rata Salary)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £22,750.00-£27,000.00 per year
