Accounts Payable Clerk for a manufacturing business based in Thetford

Atkinson Moss is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a manufacturing business based in Thetford. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the main responsibilities of the role are:

• 
  Processing of purchase invoices
• Creation of payments through internet banking (P/L, Payroll etc.)
• Managing supplier interactions & payment commitments
• Cash Forecasting input
• Assisting with management of Barclays, Santander & Credit Agricole
• Booking currency deals
• Processing general ledger entries as required
• Managing procurement & management of company car fleet
• General accounting queries
• Provides cover to the Senior Accountant for holidays

Experience and skills:

• 
  Part qualified AAT an advantage but not essential
• Proven working experience as an accounts payable clerk
• Experience working with electronic banking systems
• Good communications skills with suppliers
• High attention to detail with good Interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems & integration with purchasing & warehouse functions would be advantageous but not essential
• Moderate Excel & Word skills
