Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for two enthusiastic people to join us at Atlantic Reach Campsite nr Newquay, Cornwall. Experience is not essential as full training will be given. However, the role involves a range of duties, both indoors and outdoors so will suit active people.

The expectation is that the wardens will live onsite for the fixed term period.

Duties to include.

- Reception duties, dealing/amending bookings using our computerised booking system, answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries

- Showing guests to their pitch and ensuring that they pitch correctly to meet our fire regulations

- Carrying out site checks, checking and cleaning of the facilities throughout the day for any issues.

- On-call duties (typically 3/4 times per week), general site walk around to ensure quiet times are adhered to.

- Any other tasks deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the site.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for the caravanning and camping industry, be enthusiastic, fun, flexible, proactive and be able to provide excellent customer service. The ability to work as part of an established team is essential, but equally will be required to work alone at times and make independent decisions to resolve issues as they occur.

The positions will start early to mid May and continue until September 2023.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £10.75 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newquay: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
