SIA Door Supervisor - York

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for professional and experienced Door Supervisors to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their patrons. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining order, controlling access, and ensuring that our clients' premises are safe and secure at all times.

Hours of Work:

We require weekend availability. Most work is conducted in the evenings with hours ranging from 10 - 20 hours between Friday and Saturday. With the opportunity for midweek shifts also.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and checking the identification of patrons entering the premises
• Conducting bag searches and confiscating prohibited items
• Monitoring the behaviour of patrons and intervening when necessary to prevent any disturbances
• Coordinating with other security staff to ensure effective security management
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and their patrons, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and professionally

Requirements:

• SIA Door Supervisor License
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
