Role Overview & Responsibilities

Experienced supervisor required for a popular town centre bar & restaurant.

Established back in 2000, Avanti re-openned in summer 2021 with brand new owners and a great new team. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we want to strengthen our team.

Experience of the following duties would be ideal...

• Delivering exceptional service at all areas of the business including welcome/host, at-table and within a busy bar.
• Leading and supervising a team operating on different floors/areas.
• Managing a smooth food-order and service flow to maximise customer satisfaction.
• Upselling, add-on selling and maximising potential revenue per head.
• Handling customer satisfaction and delivering timely & efficient internal communication, including +ve & -ve feedback from customers.
• Optimising bookings through online platforms such as OpenTable.
• Delivering and hosting events such as tastings, celebrations and parties.
• Running promotions & special offers.
• Stock management including stock-assesment, ordering, deliveries and allocation.
• Customer communication via telephone, email & messenger services.
• EPOS & cashing up including maintaining and recording of key performance measures.
• Experience using office packages such as Excel and Word would be an advantage. As would any experience in social media.
• Maintaining all applicable health, safety and legal requirements. Ensuring a safe and clean environment for customers and team members.
• Retail experience would also be beneficial as we will be opening a store in the near future.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
