HGV Class 1 Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

AW Baxter is looking to recruit experienced Class 1 HGV drivers with a professional attitude to join our specialist team delivering mostly flat bed loads all over the UK.

Driving the latest equipment successful candidates will be delivering timber, steel, precast concrete, structural, fencing, engineering products, machinery and much more all over the UK.

Positions are Full time Monday – Friday basis.

Excellent Rates of Pay

Weekend work available but not mandatory

Weekly Pay

Full professional company uniform provided as well as PPE.

CPC courses paid for along with further training

Dedicated tractor units per driver

Holiday rate paid on annual average

We can accommodate day drivers, 2-3 nights out a week or tramping - all based on driver preference

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in HGV driving and strapping / securing loads. Whilst a higher level of experience is desirable, a professional attitude is more sought after.
