HGV Class 1 Driver ADR (Whisky Tanker & Tipper)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

B.Mundell Ltd are looking for an experienced class 1 HGV drivers to join our family company. Tipper & Tank experience is preferential with a strong work ethic to help our company maintain and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Working as a lorry driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of goods to a large variety of customers.

Recruiting in

Argyll & Bute & Glasgow area the role comes with the possibility of being able to take the vehicle home for the weekend.

Applicants must currently hold:

• C+E Category License (Class 1)
• ADR (Dangerous Goods Class 3 Tanks)
• CPC & Digi Card

Beneficial skills for the role:

• Tipping Experience
• ADR Work
• Cask & Barrel Discharge & Loading Procedures
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.

Some Duties May Include

• Ensuring goods are safely secured
• Keeping your vehicle in good condition
• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Completing delivery paperwork

Rate of Pay

• £11.91 (First 8 Hours Per Day
• £17.86 Time & Half
• £23.82 Double Time (Paid Sunday's, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & 1st January)
• £25.00 Overnight Subsistance
