Our client is currently recruiting Temporary Care Workers to work in their busy residential home. Working to provide the 59 residents with support and peace of mind, whether they just need a little assistance, or full time care. You will be doing everything possible to enhance the residents' quality of life. Close to local amenities and bus routes.

Duties Include:

• Identifying the needs and abilities of our residents and delivering person centred care
• Providing personal care and encouragement
• Supporting residents to remain as independent as possible
• Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the home

Care Worker attributes:

• The ability to write accurate and factual records
• An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people
• An understanding of promoting independence and human rights
• The ability to support people while upholding dignity and respect
• Knowledge of abuse and its indicators
• An understanding of care plans and risk assessments
• Dependable punctuality
• A willingness to travel to different locations from day-to-day
• A minimum of 6 months experience in care
