Role Overview & Responsibilities

Are you a student nurse wanting to have a additional income alongside your studies?

Balfor Healthcare offer full flexibility in the shifts and days you work, allowing you to work around your studies and degree placements as a Healthcare Assistant.

We welcome student Nurses that wish to broaden their experience within various hospital settings. We can offer shifts to give you more flexibility with shifts that fit around your Uni Timetable/ Placements with weekly pay.

Balfor Healthcare supply experienced Student Nurses to major NHS trusts in Oswestry, Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital and Shropshire Community. We also supply to Birmingham Trusts such as Birmingham Community Healthcare, Good Hope Hospital and City & Sandwell.

Requirements

• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
• A minimum of 6 months experience of working within the NHS or completed 26 weeks student nurse placements.
• Full Immunisation History (x3 Hepatitis B Course/ Hep B Titre Level, 2x MMR Vaccinations or Measles and Rubella Blood Tests, BCG Vaccination and Varicella Immunity)
• NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 or The Care Certificate
• Experience in Complex Care desired.
