Water Treatment Engineer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Banham Poultry (2018) recruiting for Water Treatment Engineer to manage activated sludge plants, to ensure optimum treatment performance.
Responsibilities:
· Samples taken from each discharge point daily and sent for analyses
· Monitor flow and record meter reading on a daily basis.
· Monitor all tank levels and conditions
· Monitor all equipment essential to operations
· Conduct daily visual assessment of Station Road ETP Odour abatement system
· Conduct maintenance on Station Road and BB ETP’s in accordance with specified work instructions
· Supervise chemical / waste deliveries and or removals in accordance with EMS and current Health and Safety Legislation
· Abide by all Work Instructions
· Report any non-conformance / deviation / fault from normal operation to engineering management, any fault which may cause a serious environmental impact must be reported to Senior Management level
· Keep work area clean and tidy and attend regular meetings with Engineering Management
· Monitor contractors conducting work at ETP’s, read and understand risk assessments
· Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose
· Ensure all components used are booked out from stores
Shift pattern / rates
· Rotating Pitman shift – Hours to be confirmed
· Salary – circa £30000p/a
Requirements
· Health and Safety course.
· Water treatment experience preferable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00 per year
