Picking and Packing Operative
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client is a long established food manufacturing company. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Packer to join their team on a temporary basis. 7am till 5pm (can be earlier or later on occasion).
This is an exciting time to join an awardβ’winning company and is an ideal role for those who do well as permanent opportunities will be available for the right people.
As a Picker/Packer you will be expected to pack finished goods into correct packaging and working from a customer picking sheet.
Your duties will include:
- Packing finished goods
- Picking Customers orders
- Working with raw meat
- Working to your own initiative
- Labelling boxes
- Working under strict food hygiene regulations
- Working in a chilled environment
- General housekeeping duties
To be considered for the role of Packer you must have:
- Food production experience
- Used to working in a repetitive role
- The flexibility to finish the job
- Proven reliability in a working environment
- The willingness to learn new processes
- Comfortable working in chilled conditions
Working 5 out of 7 days including weekends, with 9/10 am starts until finish.
