Machine Operator

A Manufacturing company based in Brierley Hill are searching for a Machine Operator to join their team on a permanent basis working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00. The company themselves have been working in their particular industry for over 70 years.

As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading a range of Machines.
• Learning to become a setter of Machines in the coming months.
• Learning more skills such as Setter, Changing tools, Troubleshooting etc…
• Ensuring the Machine area is kept organised and tidy through the shift.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries.

As a Machine Operator you will be required to:

• Have previous experience as a Machine Operator will be beneficial but not essential.
• Have a keen interest in the Mechanical industry.
• Willing to learn and grow with a business who are looking to invest in training people to become Machine Setters.
• A FLT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Be an enthusiastic and committed to the role and progressing with the business.

The role of Machine Operator will be working on a permanent basis being paid £10.46 per hour with a rise to £12.38 once training is completed.
