Mixing Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

BBF Ltd is one of the UK’s leading ambient cake manufacturers of retailer own label, licensed and branded cakes, supplying recognisable retailers across the UK and European market. We are passionate about our products and aim to put the customer at the heart of everything we do. We are currently looking for Mixers to join our team in Hull working Monday – Friday, 14:00 – 22:00.

Purpose of the Role

To correctly mix ingredients (raw materials) to meet the specification and ensure a quality product.

Principle Accountabilities

• Following recipes to strict specifications
• The completion of process and production control documentation
• Achieving set targets in hygiene cleanliness
• Keeping the mixing area clear, maintaining a safe working environment at all times

Experience and Qualifications

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food manufacturing environment in particular understanding the mixing area and its machinery
• Ability to work on own and as part of a team
• Time bound, efficient and attention to detail
• Health & Safety and Food Safety Level 2 preferred
• Strong verbal and numerical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.69 per hour
