FOH ASSISTANT AND BARTENDER

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Front of House member of staff and bartenders to join our team at independent Restaurant BELLUCCIS in Wakefield

You must be customer service focused and committed to providing a helpful, friendly service, have good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. The ability to prioritise your workload is a must. An individual with a pro-active stance towards problem solving, who displays a positive attitude and calmness under pressure is exactly what we are looking for.

Main responsibilities include:

• Being the primary port of call for all guests during their meal.
• Engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Dealing with their requests efficiently and accurately, communicating with kitchen and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery.
• Serving food, beverages & accompaniments in line with service standards.
• Clearing tables and/or service points in a team environment.
• Know and can describe food and beverage menus including correct cutlery, crockery and glassware for the menu/beverage items being offered.
• Assisting with the set up and clear down of your area, ready for the next service.
• Ensuring all cutlery, crockery and glassware is polished & impeccably clean before use and ensuring all service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.
• Escalate any service issues to the appropriate management team member.
• Comply with all company and unit policies with regards to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies. Enjoy your work, smile and have fun!
• You must be over 18 and have at least 2 years of experience in customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

Salary: £9.50-£11.00 per hour

Experience:

• Hospitality: 2 years (required)
• customer Service: 2 years (required)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
