Finance Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Bernard Matthews are recruiting for Finance Assistant at the Great Witchingham Site.

This position is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

As Finance Assistant you will:

• Analyse, monitor and control the operational financial performance of the business.
• Obtain credits for shortages, rejections, transport and price variances
• Challenge incorrect purchase orders
• Invoice approval
• Liaise closely with the department managers and Accounts Payable
• Updating information on supplier statements
• Approval of inter-company supplier agreements
• Work closely with management and operations functions of the business to ensure delivery of site operational efficiency and cost targets

About you:

• Attention to Detail
• Good communication skills across all levels and functions within the business
• Strong excel knowledge and experience
• Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food industry
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
