JIB Graded Electrician/Approved Electrician

Here at BGEN LTD, we're looking for JIB Graded Electricians for ongoing work in Southampton!

Location: Fast Project Southampton, Polimeri Laydown, Cadland Road, Hardley, Hythe, Southampton, SO45 3YY. Digs and travel available for working away from their local area!

Electricians must have JIB gold card (Electrician or Approved Electrician).

Shifts: Site hours work on a four-day per week pattern (11 hour days) with overtime rates following the NAECI guidelines. Normal site hours are 07:30-18:30 Monday to Thursday.

Salary: This is a PAYEONLY contract. As you will be paid PAYE, you will accrue holidays on top of your hourly rate. Throughout your employment, site bonuses, travel & digs costs towards if working away and overtime!

Rates of Pay for ALL Operatives

Basic rate - £19.11 per hour PAYE (up to 38 hours per week)

OT1 - £26.75 per hour PAYE (Over 38 hours Mon - Fri and first 4 hours Saturday)

OT2 - £34.40 per hour PAYE (Over 4 hours Saturday and all hours Sunday)

We have an excellent long-term opportunity for Electricians with JIB cards starting in Southampton in February 2023, with a considerable amount of work to follow. Good hours and overtime available with travel and lodge available for travelling operatives.

The Role: Carrying out electrical installation, containment and wiring on industrial refurbishment projects.

On this role, you will be required to complete and pass an appropriate Drug and Alcohol screening - this is an excellent opportunity as the clearance is fully transferable with other projects we have the contract for, which you may have the opportunity to access in the future. Successful electricians must have gold JIB Card and have relevant experience on industrial/power station projects.

Electricians must have JIB gold card (Electrician or Approved Electrician) and IPAF 3A and 3B
