Trainee / Apprentice Damp Proofing Technician

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to the continuing growth of the business, Biocraft South West Limited require a trainee / apprentice damp proofing technician to join their team. Applicants must have a clean, full UK driving licence and their own vehicle, as it will be necessary to travel to the office.

Daily duties will involve providing assistance to a senior technician in all aspects of internal and external damp proofing, rendering, plastering and drylining, together with general building, preparatory and maintenance works, such as the removal of old/damaged plaster and render, installation of damp proof courses and waterproofing membranes, as well as general labouring tasks such as, the mixing of plaster, adhesive and render, disposing of building debris, maintaining a clean & tidy site/property.

Good timekeeping, communication skills and a positive attitude to work and learning are key attributes to fulfil this role successfully.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Swindon, Wiltshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
