Birmingham City University is a large and diverse place to study right in the heart of the city and an exciting opportunity has arisen within the International Office for an Administrative Assistant to support our International student experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The post holder will focus on international student experience in the planning and delivery of key events such as the International Orientation programme, Meet and Greet, Cultural activities as well as other related events.
  • The post holder will also undertake any other duties commensurate with the grading and purpose of the post as may be required from time to time, including undertaking cross-divisional duties and departmental-wide activities as appropriate.

Skills and Experience:

  • The successful applicant should be educated to degree level or equivalent and previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
