Role Overview & Responsibilities

About The Role

Overview:
To provide a professional and comprehensive support service to the Project team, in ensuring that all engineering solutions are delivered to an agreed strategy
Key Role Deliverables:
  • Managing parts of construction projects
  • Overseeing building work and undertaking site surveys
  • Setting out sites and organising facilities
  • Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure they are followed correctly
  • Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
  • Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
  • Preparing site reports
  • Liaising with QS’s about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislations are adhered to
  • Developing CAD/Design drawings for the clients and asset owners
  • Any other reasonable requests required by management
  • It is expected that all of your behaviours and day to day activities will be underpinned by the blu-3 company core values.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
  • Engineering related degree
  • CSCS Card
Essential and Desirable Skills:
  • Member of professional institution not essential but would be desirable
  • Good team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Management skills
  • Punctual
  • Seeks continuous improvement
  • Willingness to learn
