Housekeeper

Boclair Care Home is looking to recruit a Housekeeper.

This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care.

As Housekeeper, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, always ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Housekeeper Contract

• £9.50 per hour
• 18 - 30 hours per week
• Company pension
• 5.6 weeks annual leave
• Uniform provided
• Onsite parking

Responsibilities

• Empty waste bins
• Vacuum throughout
• Shake out cushions
• Clean dining rooms/lounges/toilets
• Clean taps and sinks
• Clean soap dispenser outlets
• Clean toothbrush holders
• Spot clean all floorings
• Wash all bathroom/toilet/en-suite floors
• Polish all mirrors
• Clean all pipe work in toilets
• Dust handrails and radiators
• Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath/behind
• Wash out metal wastepaper bins
• Dust and polish furniture and windowsills
• Wash lino floors
• Shampoo carpets as requested by Home Manager
• Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
• Restock toiletries, soaps, towels when required
