Role Overview & Responsibilities

03182 - Graduate Landscape Architect Sheffield or Manchester £22,000 - £30,000 pa

FULL TIME PERMENANT POSTION – OFFICE BASED

Your role will include: reporting on a day-to-day basis to the landscape team lead and working with other members of the landscape team as well as with other environmental specialists in other company offices.

You will provide specialist consultancy support for landscape design, landscape management and landscape planning. You will operate nationally, producing high quality landscape and visual assessment and landscape design outputs for a number of sectors including Waste, Minerals, Land and Property Development, Infrastructure Development, Energy and Utilities and Insurance Companies and will provide services including landscape planning and design, environmental co-ordination, landscape master planning, visualisation and interpretation procedures.

As a Graduate Landscape Architecture your brief will include;

• Project support and design from initial sketch plans through to detailed planting schemes and construction detailing

• Production of graphics and presentation material for senior members and other consultancy teams on projects

• You will assist in the landscape design, planning and management, preparation of landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) documents

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD and Sketch Up

• You will be required to work on and support multiple projects running concurrently, from concept creation through to completion.

• You will need to combine the ability to develop big ideas with exceptional creative and technical execution.

• You will need to be able to manage your own workload and time as well as being part of multi discipline teams

• Be enthusiastic to learn new skills

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or architecture or equivalent professional experience.

• Post Graduate Qualification in Landscape or equivalent professional experience.
