Job Title: Taxi Operator

Location: Scarborough

Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week with potential for more hours

Rate of Pay: £11 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Taxi Operator.

Job Description:

As a Taxi Operator, your primary responsibility will be to take customer bookings and assign drivers to those bookings using our digital booking system. You will work closely with our team of drivers to ensure that all bookings are fulfilled efficiently and in a timely manner. This role is based within our booking office, and no driving is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and take taxi bookings from customers
• Assign drivers to bookings using our digital booking system
• Communicate with drivers to provide clear instructions and relevant information about bookings
• Ensure that all bookings are completed promptly and professionally
• Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues and addressing customer inquiries
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and driver assignments
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• No prior experience is required as full training will be provided on our digital booking system
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn and adapt to new software quickly
• A flexible schedule, with the ability to work additional hours if needed
