Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Electrician team members to join our friendly and welcoming team based at our Vehicle Conversion Centre in Cumbernauld on a permanent contract. You will be working with innovative, like-minded people in a welcoming and supportive environment.

In the role of Automotive Electrician, you would be responsible for the installation and commissioning of in-vehicle electrical and electronic systems, and other associated equipment. Knowledge and experience of electrical installation and/or assembly is an essential requirement for this role.

The role will be varied in line with our wide-ranging customer base and will include working on new commercial vehicles, cars and 4 x 4’s, covering ICE, electric, and hybrid models.

The successful Automotive Electrician should have the following skills/experience:

• a varied background in electrical installation and/or assembly – ideally including 12V, 24V, 110V and/or 230V systems
• the ability to read and interpret electrical systems and wiring diagrams
• be experienced in using electrical engineering/workshop tools including crimping etc.
• effective team working skills, ensuring quality and output targets are consistently achieve
• effective written and verbal communication

Day Shift: Monday - Thursday 7.30-16:00 and Friday 7.30-12.30 | 37 hours a week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.74-£13.75 per hour
