Role Overview & Responsibilities

A market-leading £1 billion turnover group of distribution and wholesale businesses are looking for a motivated Graduate Operations & Logistics Trainee to join their business in Newton Abbot. You'll gain valuable experience across different areas of a business that are passionate about developing graduate talent.

Role Responsibilities

The business you'll be joining are well-established in their sector and distribute a wide range of home, DIY and garden products to business customers throughout the South West and Wales. As a Graduate Operations & Logistics Trainee, you will:

• Receive tailored training from an experienced and successful manager who himself joined the business as a graduate trainee
• Gain insight into various areas of the business, rotating through various departments including transport, logistics, inventory control, administration and fleet management
• Learn how all of the departments work and come together
• Complete and end up managing things such as driver routing, fleet compliance etc
• Have opportunities to progress and work within different operations departments in the business

The package for this graduate business role includes:

• An initial starting salary of £24,000 - £25,000
