Role Overview & Responsibilities

Brighouse Pharmacy

We are looking for a Pharmacy Delivery Driver for our Pharmacy in Brighouse. Part time pharmacy delivery drivers with flexible shifts with or without experience.

The Job

The job involves delivering medicines to patient homes and collecting when required prescriptions from surgeries. This role is very important aspect of our business in delivering healthcare to our local community in Brighouse and surrounding area. As a lot of our elderly and vulnerable patients rely on this service, the candidate must demonstrate high degree of reliability and trust. You will support the Pharmacy team, ensuring deliveries get to the right patient on time, and all information is passed to the customer correctly. It is vital that prescriptions are delivered efficiently and securely. We are looking for a driver who can be flexible to meet our customers’ needs. Your basic hours will be approx. 20-30hrs per week Mon to Fri and you will be expected to cover holidays. You will have the use of pharmacy delivery van.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Must have a clean valid driving licence
• Must be professional, punctual, and have a good caring manner
• Previous pharmacy work an advantage but not essential
• Customer focused & friendly
• Excellent Numeracy skills
• Self-Motivated the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to priorities workload
• Reliable and Committed

Training

• Delivery Driver training for medicines delivery (will be provided)

Hours of Work

• Monday - Friday
• 20-30hrs per week Mon to Fri and you will be expected to cover holidays.

Experience:

• delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• English not required
