Class 1 Supermarket Delivery Driver 4 Days per week

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Self Motivated Reliable Class 1 Driver Required 4days a week 1x Nights 2x Days

Supermarket Delivery work which requires self-loading and self-tipping in a safe but very efficient manner. It does require a good level of physical fitness as it is quite hands on. All dock work no tail lift using electric pallet trucks.

Set shift pattern

Nights 2300-0100 start time

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday

Days 1000-1100 start time

Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Monday

there is the opportunity for overtime on Containers and other work if required.

The successful candidate must be able to speak good English as interaction with the customer regularly required.

The following skills and experience are essential:

· Hold a valid cat CE UK licence

· Hold a valid DQC

· Hold a valid digital tachograph card

· Ability to act on your own initiative as we won’t always be there to hold your hand.

· Take pride in your work and look after the kit like it is your own.

· A minimum of 2 years' commercial experience, driving a cat CE vehicle in the UK, for insurance purposes

· A maximum of 6 points for minor offences, No DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes

· Provide checkable work history and references for the last 3 years without any gaps

· Previous supermarket delivery experience desirable but not essential

PAYE £165 Per Shift

Self Employed Ltd £190 Per Shift

Nights

PAYE £175 Per Shift

Self Employed Ltd £200 Per shift

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Freelance

Salary: £165.00-£200.00 per day

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Darlington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 2 years (required)
• Supermarket Delivery: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
