Role Overview & Responsibilities

The ideal person for this position is someone who enjoys being part of a small team working together ensuring the food that reaches our customers is as fresh as it can be and at the standard they are used too. We are not a large, target driven type of employer but teamwork ensures the job gets done within the allocated schedule for our vans to deliver on time to the customer. You will need to accurately pick and pack customer orders using a flowrap machine to seal the products before packing them in to individual customer orders by a delivery note. Attention to detail and the ability to learn and retain information along with an attitude to succeed will be your most important attributes. You must be able to comply with Company and Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Ideally you would have worked in the food industry before but this is not essential. Experience of shift work and previous roles in packing/labelling will be preferred as this is a permanent night shift.

This position has a 6.00pm start so you must be able to get home in the early hours, the pay is fortnightly 1 week in arrears and is a permanent position for an established local company not agency work. There is no Saturday night working, 5 nights between Sunday and Friday but must be flexible to cover holidays.
