Role Overview & Responsibilities

There’s never been a better time to progress your career as a Care Coordinator with Brunelcare. This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in rostering/planning that wants to maintain a healthy work life balance and work office hours with no on-call or line management responsibilities.

You will be part of a team, but will primarily focus on planning the service effectively. Supporting Team Leaders to take on new referrals to grow the service and enabling them to focus on providing support to customers and our dedicated carers.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact delivering exceptional administration, rostering and care support to our team working in the community in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

About the role

  • Maintaining our Care manager system and ensure rosters are completed accurately

  • Manage any re-rostering for holidays and sickness absence, and customer changes

  • Work with our team leaders communicating where there is capacity and allocating resources effectively.

  • To support the Team Leaders and Registered Manager to identify to the referral list, new runs of work to support walkers or drivers for new carers.

  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to identify gaps in capacity to inform recruitment.

  • Answer queries from carers and customers with rostering queries

  • Ensuring our customers are treated with respect and dignity, emphasising their independence and supporting them as individuals.

  • Work with external contacts and BRUNELCARE staff to ensure continuity of a quality focused care/support service.

  • To organise on call rota to ensure the entire month has been covered,

About you

  • An understanding of older people's needs

  • Good IT skills and a knowledge of spreadsheets

  • Ideally some experience in planning / rostering or ability to problem solve

  • The ability to manage a variety of tasks; prioritising and completing within set time frames

  • Possess and demonstrate a competent and professional manner regardless of the situation
