Early Years Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

To be part of a team, involved in every aspect of day to day living and development of the children.

Play an active role in providing a secure and educational environment for the children.

Actively participate in training, completing SVQ work as requested by your assessor.

Observe and be vigilant with regards to the child protection policy, you will be given a copy of this to read, and guided by the staff in the room.

To have a flexible approach to learning all the nursery policies and procedures.

Set up and clear play room areas and to keep all equipment clean, complete and in good order.

To contribute to the basic care of equipment and apparatus within the nursery.

Work as part of the nursery team and establish good, effective relationships with children and parents

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: £192.40 per week
