Clinical Director (Veterinary) - £75k DOE

Role Overview & Responsibilities

A rare opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced vet to join the management team as a Clinical Director, at a well-established hospital practice based near Edinburgh in Midlothian.

Our client is a 3-site practice with a 24-hour hospital based in the attractive south side of Edinburgh, treating small animal patients from all across the city. The e-vet team provide out-of-hours cover to patients and those of our clients' user practices.

You will co-manage and lead a team of 65 members of staff (including 18 Vets) and uphold our excellent standards of patient and client care. Your responsibilities will include: general clinical duties, management, coaching and support of colleagues, business strategy, financial planning and budgeting.

You will need excellent all-round clinical capabilities as well as enthusiasm and energy to be the driving force of the business' progression.

As the position is based in a 24-hour hospital, there will be some responsibilities outside of normal working hours.

Salary & benefits:

• Between £60,000-£75,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• 6 weeks of holiday per year
• CPD allowance of £1750 per annum, with further qualifications supported
