Contracts Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Calibre Cleaning are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to manage our team of cleaning operatives at Manston. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent people and HR skills, effective planning, scheduling, task allocation and performance assessments. You will develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with the team and key client contacts

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and encourage cleaning supervisors and the cleaning team
• Schedule and carry out staff training as required
• Carry out interviews and appoint new candidates
• Manage and agree leave requests
• Manage staff absences and ensure adequate staff resources
• Build and maintain positive client relationships
• Respond and resolve client complaints
• Plan work schedules and allocate tasks
• Check and audit completed tasks
• Maintain HR and audit documentation
• Maintain stock and equipment

What we need from you:

• Solid experience in managing and motivating a diverse team
• Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels
• Excellent organisational skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft and other industry software
• Have an eye for detail
• Enthusiastic and alert to opportunities for improvement
