We are looking for a reliable, flexible and experienced Delivery Driver to work in our busy commercial laundry.

What you'll be doing....

• Customer Deliveries. Driving a 3.5T Vehicle
• Maintaining road worthiness and cleanliness of your vehicle
• Keeping the dispatch area and yard clean and tidy
• Working with industrial machinery
• Daily defect reporting
• Reporting to the Transport Manager
• Part time, working any 2 days in the week and one Saturday in 4.

What you'll need....

• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver .
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Community and team mindset
• Excellent Communication skills both written and oral.
• Hard work ethic
• Full Clean UK driving licence
• Be flexible regarding working hours
• Ability to use smart phone applications.
• Ability to understand Satellite navigation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.09 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Talbot, SA12 6HZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Driving: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
