POST: Meet & Greet Front of House
TENURE: Seasonal Fixed Term Contract to 31st October 2023
HOURS: 4 on, 12 off shift pattern – 12-hour night shifts £11:00 per hour

“Cardiff Airport is the national airport for Wales and an important part of the national transport infrastructure and key gateway to the UK for international visitors. The airport is a major contributor to the Welsh economy, supporting 2,400 aviation-related jobs and typically driving over £246m of direct economic benefit to Wales annually.

There are 10 airlines currently making regular use of the airport’s facilities, which include KLM, TUI, Aer Lingus (Emerald), Ryanair, Vueling, Eastern and Loganair. The airport is expected to offer over 29 direct routes in 2023, as well as easy, one-stop global connections to over 160 cities available with KLM via its hub in Amsterdam”.

A number of full time, seasonal positions have become available within the Car Park Team at Cardiff Airport for the role of Meet & Greet Front of House who will report to the Car Parks Manager. The primary objective of these positions is to provide a first class Meet & Greet car parking service for the airport.

The post holder is responsible for providing administrative and front desk support for the Meet & Greet parking service at the airport.

You will have a good general level of education, have previous experience of working in a customer-facing environment and have great communication skills. You will be used to working in a busy environment and be able to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Computer skills are essential. A full clean driving license required.

The airport operates on a 24/7 basis and flexibility and commitment will be required to attend at short notice for operational reasons, for example, special events and adverse weather conditions.

The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Criminal Record check to comply with Department for Transport regulations.
