Production Line Leader

Role Overview & Responsibilities

CareerMakers Recruitment currently looking for a Production Line Leader to join our client based in Longridge,Preston PR3 area.

The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Managing production lines to meet planned volume in accordance with QA and safety standards.

Effectively motivating a team of people to meet production targets.

Effectively maximising production efficiency to ensure plans are met on an hourly/daily basis.

Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.

Ensuring GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.

Undertaking such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.

Essential skills:

• Food Production experience
• strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Relevant production knowledge for the position
• Understanding and capability to complete, analyse and present all required operation paperwork, as per area of work,
• Understanding Health & Safety in the workplace
• Understanding and application of hygiene standards across all operation areas
• Demonstrate a “Can do “attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• knowledge of food safety standards,
• knowledge and ability to operate all production machines in one operation area,
• knowledge and capability in maintaining all production machines in one operation area.

Working hours: Sunday to Friday 16PM-02AM (5 days on / 2 days off (e.g., Friday & Saturday)

Payrate: £11.67 per / hour (+performance bonus 20 £ / shift)
