Home Care Support Worker (weekend only)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking kind and compassionate weekend care staff to support our young man who has complex care and who lives in the Farnborough area.

Hours of work:

Saturday 8am-1pm (5x hours)

Saturday 2pm-6pm (4x hours)

Sunday 8am-1pm (5x hours)

Sunday 3pm-6pm (4x hours)

Roles and responsibilities include:

Morning 0800-1300: Assisting with his morning personal care routine, including a shower. Supporting with mealtimes; our client has some food and (thickened) drinks orally but all meals are via P.E.G (full training provided). You will also be Providing companionship and engaging with sensory activities.

Afternoon shift: Providing suppport with mealtimes and medication. Assisting with his evening personal care routine.

This position would suit care staff who can be reliable and who want to support young people who have learning and physical disabilities. You will be working alongside the young persons mum, helping and assisting her with his care at home with the maximum respect, privacy and discretion.
